Hi there! I am so very happy you found my blog. With the addition of a brand new website, I also have a brand new blog to go with it. Come check it out at:
Thanks for stopping by!
They first met at a business networking event. I’m sure neither Kyle nor Janeen realized just how special that day would be when they both showed up to that meeting. But fast forward a few short years, and they’re getting ready to say “I Do”. After all, isn’t it the normal days that lead to the extraordinary days and set the stage for the things to come?
Kyle and Janeen will be married in November. After spending time with them at their session, where they were happily dodging rain and enduring an especially warm evening with smiles on their faces, I am really looking forward to their big day!
I’ve photographed quite a few members of his family before, so when Brandon told me he wanted me to photograph his wedding, I was elated. Maddy was breathtaking in vintage style; Brandon was dashing in gray and gold. They spent the first day of forever surrounded by the love and laughter of their families and dearest friends.
Congratulations to the two of you! Thank you for sharing your day with me.
Brandon and Maddy opted for a first look in order to have a special moment to themselves, and to take some of the pressure off of the rest of the day. It was perfection!
The reception was held at Nova 535, which is truly a unique venue.
Brian and Amanda are the kind of clients that immediately feel like friends. They graciously welcomed me into their home and into this very special time in their lives. I absolutely can’t wait to meet their new little princess, and see her in their arms. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
The mother of the bride called me right after Penelope was born and asked if I would photograph her daughter’s wedding, which was taking place a few weeks later. I’m so very glad I said yes, even if it was a little bit of a challenge to get back into the swing of things so soon after having a baby. Marian and Gary, along with their families and friends, were wonderful. Many thanks to them all for being such a great group to work with!
Gulf Beach Weddings handled the ceremony beautifully.
After the wedding, we headed over to the Island Way Grill for a fabulous brunch reception.
I am officially back to shooting, and had the opportunity to meet the Lewis family at Crest Lake Park last week. We did senior portraits and a family session, and it was such fun to photograph them. Debbie told me they hadn’t had family portraits done for a long time, so I was thrilled to help capture some memories of this stage in their lives. At the end of the session, we sent Debbie away and I helped the boys with a little Mother’s Day surprise!
I have to admit it has been far too long since I’ve updated the blog. I also have to admit that I have a really good reason and here she is….
